Cold valve adjustment

Can anyone tell me how to do a cold valve adjustment on a TO 30.The cold setting is .015,but i don't know what order to adjust the cylinders in? can someone help me.

If the firing order of the engine is 1-3-4-2...then get the valve on number 1 and adjust it...then 3, then 4 and then 2. I just rough them in and then when engine is started and idling slowly,I check them closer. There should be slight pull when the feeler guage is inserted between valve stem and rocker. Since this is a 4-cylinder engine, you can use the "rule of 9". As you rotate the engine, take the valve number of a valve that is fully open (down all the way, numbered 1-8 from front to back), subtract it from 9, then adjust the valve that is the result. In other words, if valve 3 is down all the way, subtract 3 from 9, which is 6, and adjust the clearance on valve 6.

Works for me...
