well, i finally got my 1953 TO30 started....it sat for about fifteen years...previous owner gave up on it...engine sounds good(but loud,no muffler)...now i need to figure why the loader and backhoe work sooooo slowly...put hydro fluid in the backhoe and that seemed to help..do you need to run the engine at full rpm's when using the backhoe?..i'm a little leary to do that at this point...also, does any one know how to fill the resevior on the davis loader..... backhow and loader have seperate pumps...loader pump in front and backhoe pump on back pto. Thanks

Backhoe is slow because you have to clean the filter inside the tank. Remove top cover plate, drain fluid, you will find a filter that comes apart for cleaning. Then.....really fast backhoe.
Let me know how you make out.
