I am trying to desmantle the water pump on my to35. I have removed from tractor, removed the 4 bolts that hold the fan to the shroud. Now I am unable to remove the shroud & pulley separate of the water pump. Is there a secret? Is the shroud & pulley threaded onto the pulley, it doesn't look like in the service manual. I am afraid to bang on it for fear of breaking casting. Thanks for any advice. Terry

If you drop it, it will probably fall off...try tapping on the shroud with a piece of wood...it's just stuck. It just slips onto the end of the shaft and after rotating till the holes line up...you install the fan and bolts. L8R....Fred OH
