Can anyone tell me how to connect a Tac to the breaker points and condensor electrical system on my tractor? I need to monitor the RPMs so that they don't get too high. My RPMs gradually creep up or slow down during operation. I may be trying to fix a primary problem with a secondary solution. Thanks Bill H.

Normally this would hook up to the wire that goes from the coil to the dist. In other words the dist. side of the coil.

I have change the wiring to 12 volt - ground. The battery (hot) wire from the ignition switch (cold side)is connected to the + side screw attachment on the coil. The - side screw of the coil is wired to the post just below the distributor cap. If I follow you this is where the TAC feed wire should be connected. Bill H.

Hook to the - side of the coil or to where the coil wire attaches to the dist. Either way should work.
