i have a 1953 to30 that needs carburetor work...is the tsx458 the only one that was used on the to30's...or were there others used?....how do you tell one from the other?.....anybody have any ideas how to split the carb in two...mine is badly rusted together....thanks,Joe

The model u stated mostly used on Z129 engine as far as I know. Some people put Zeniths on them as aftermarket, which might work ok. I had one of those once. Sometimes people may have put different M-S models on them too, probably with less than wonderful results, although I haven't experienced that. The number is usually on a metal strip attached, but often that is missing. Soak it, clean outside good, wire brush it, put some PB Blaster on it. Don't bang on it too much. It should pop open with a little perseverence.
