I bought new shredder blades, there is a note in the paperwork that came with the new bolts that the nuts should be torqued to 728 foot pounds? My whench only goes to 400 pounds. The John Deere guy said that it was not a mistake that was the factory recommendation. What do I do?

Put a piece of pipe on the torque wrench, on the end of the pipe attach like a fish scale or something like that. Use the scale to pull the pipe on the wrench and read what it says at 400 foot pounds. Then do the math to get the 728 foot pounds. You may have to try different lengths of pipe to get the scale to work. Would depend how high the scale went to. I have used this type of set up to set the preload on bearings in the shop.
