I'm looking for someone to repair the steering wheel for my 30. Including the mounting hub and extending out approx. 5 to 8 inches on the 3 "spokes" the original covering is gone. The rest of wheel covering is in good shape. I'm thinking the solid covering can be pined and new covering molded to old hub and spokes.

Know where I can have this done???? Thanks

Dave

My TO-30 wheel was in better shape than yours sounds and I tried all the people who advertise that they will restore steering wheels, but none would touch the wheel with spokes that are coverd as they said they do not have the tooling to do it. Spokes uncovered no problem. Soooo, I bought a new wheel which was supposed to be a Ferguson replacemnt and it looks real nice but not as smooth or black as the original. If you ever find anyone willing to do the repair, I would appreciate knowing as I still have the original. Good luck.

I agree with Gary. Tractor Supply is the cheapest place I've found and unless you are restoring it for show, I'd get the Ford replacement.

Have you thought about new? I purchased a new replacement for my to30 at Tractor Supply for about 35 dollars. I believe it is the same wheel as the one on an 8n Ford, but don't quote me on that! I'm sure the wheel is also available elswhere. Sorry, but I have no idea about repairs.
Good luck,
Gary
