I bought an FE35 which does not have any wiring. The previous owner told me that this tractor had been in a fire and the starting motor, generator etc were changed. The wiring was changed to negative ground and worked perfectly. My wiring diagram shows originally the wiring would be positive ground. Can anyone tell me the connections for negative ground especially those to the control box?

If your FE 35 came from the factory with a positive ground system and you wish a negative ground system you will need a control box that is for negative ground. I would check with a dynamo repair facility for control box and tell them what you are doing as to neg and pos. ground. Bring the dynamo along also as internally or externally to earth might be a factor.

Don, On your control box there should be 4 terminals marked F,A,E,& D. Earth connection is to E. A connection goes to ammeter, F & D are both dynamo connections. Hope this helps,
Regards,
Peter.
