Correction: Farmall C-264 to C-281 Engine Upgrade (Super M-TA)
I've just started into overhauling my Super M-TA that was purchased new by my Granddad and dad. I was not sure if it had ever been rebuilt, but after pulling the head I discovered this piston P/N: 374457-R1 E. I was expecting the original piston size of 4.00 inches, but measured the sleeves at the very top and came up with around 4.128 inches. The pistons were also domed, I assume a "Fire Crater" piston and are 4.125 inches in diameter. This increases it to a 281 cubic inch displacement. I do not have a Parts book for a 450. Was this a part used for the 450 or only for upgrading the Super M's? My goal is to use Farmall 450 (4.125 inch) pistons and sleeves. Just asking for comments.
