Super A Generator Belt Sizes - When did it change?

Does anyone know the serial number break (or parts style break) for the (2) sizes of generator belts used on a Farmall Super A? Would be helpful when trying to get the right belt without having the old one or the tractor to measure it. I found the info below on another post in this forum.

Quoted from another post:
New numbers. 49291D is low serial number cross to 6826 Gates.

Higher serial # is 52318DA which crosses to 9279 Gates

I just either take the old belt in for a guess, or I measure around the outside of the pulleys and get a couple options and take the left overs back. Then I record the number for the belt for future reference.

The break is at 317191. B4, 49291D, after, 53218DA. Steiner Tractor has them. Their numbers are ABC 103 and 104. Ask for a catalog. 1-800-link_disallowed

The higher part number was used serial 317192 and up. Looks like it matches up with an increase in the diameter of the drive pulley on the fan hub.

I've seen all kinds of strange
stuff, different pulleys on
generators, different generator
used, adjustable brackets broken
and fixed.... These can affect
the belt size.

Thank you Jim. I'll put this note in my parts cross reference spreadsheet.
