Can you push these dozers while they are running if the transmission wont engage? Id like to push it on to a lowboy and haul it to my shop. Before I go to the effort to haul another dozer there that can push it Id like to know if it can be pushed if trans is not working

What I would do if it cant be pushed to do it would be start it raise blade. Shut it off. Pull driveshafts quick and push it on. I think left side pulled would be enough but you will know right away if it doesnt move

Transmission won't engage? Power shift I assume? Dosent really matter I guess, but if it's a direct drive make sure it's in neutral. So long as the brakes are released you can push them. If the transmission or ring and pinion are locked up just pull both steering clutches back to release them, then only the final drives are turning. If it is a powershift, it's sounds like the charging pump is out or dry, lost prime. Do you have hydraulic pressure to release the steering clutches?

Transmission pump is used for clutches and brake booster. At least that's how a D8h works, don't think there's much different on a 7. Did you just buy it or is it something you have owned?
Have checked all the fluids, transmission, converter, etc? Is it a powershift? There should be five (5) ports to check the system. One each for converter, steering clutches, brakes, charge pump and lube pump that excluding the hydraulics. Lots of times if they sit for a long period of time they can loose their prime on the charge pump. Usually caused by an O ring that dried out and leaked air into the system. It should roll though, as there was no auto lockup or anything on them when not running. Hydraulics for the moldboard, ripper etc. Is a separate system, no affiliation to the transmission

Yes. Pull steering sticks out to disengage steering clutches. Release park brake if it is applied.
