Caterpillar d-6c hydraulic tank leaking

I have a caterpillar D-6c serial number 10k10536 1976year that has an oil leak problem where the control rod for the blade tilt goes into the tank. Very frustrating problem, I removed the tank,put new seals in on both rods coming out of the tank, checked for wear on the rods, nothing visably worn on the shafts, reinstalled the tank thinking that the mission was accomplished.Tank still is leaking oil! Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks advance!

And you have confirmed that the leak is still coming through the seals?

Not specifically but oil is dripping out along the shaft of the
control rod,dont know where else it could be coming from.
Rod was smooth to the touch, didnt show any wear. Im
wondering if theres just enough wear on the rod that the
seal cant completely close off. Thanks for the reply!
