ford 555c maintenance question

Picked up a Ford 555c loader/backhoe.

I had a friend doing the maintenance on her but has flaked out on me.
So I want to give her an oil change but the service manual says 20w-50 or 20w-40 oil.

I use Rotella T6 in my Ford F450 , will this work in the 555c?

Not a diesel mechanic by any stretch. Figured it works better to ask then repair later.

Welcome to the forums.

T6 is available in different weights. What weight do you run in you F450? I would go with a 15w/40. And I would use the Rotella T4, no need for a full synthetic, but that is up to you.

Oil questions generally get a lot of responses, so more to come.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the advice. T4 it is. Only reason I went with T4 in my vehicles for decades is growing up in Northern MN. it was much easier on engines during the winter startup.
It just became a habit all these years.

Thank you again for your help.

Grease the pump drive when you service her. Needs grease every 50 hours or so. Check your engine coolant with a test strip or replace it with the proper coolant to avoid cavitation erosion. Would also be a good idea to add biocide to your fuel and change the fuel filters after a few hours of run time. If she's a 4x4, drain and refill the front hubs. Grease the front axle pivot. There's more but that's a good start.
