Apparently I had water in my filter and when I fired it up to move snow it blew the hydraulic filter housing right off the threads. :(
I'm trying to find a replacement threaded base. the style I have doesn't seem to match the pic in the manual. Mine is a vertical, long canister style with the canister pointing down. It is a Marveline-TT, has a M-2737A, and a serial 560206-5140. The threaded canister appears fine and has an o-ring on it to seal. If anyone knows where I can get a new base or what the specs are for some kind of serviceable replacement I would greatly appreciate it!

I took a look at the online parts list for the 580B, and it says it is fitted with the 35 backhoe/loader, the part # for the filter assembly is D42440, go to machinerytrader.com, first page opens go down under the machine symbols and type in the part search box the part # only and search, it will bring some used ones up, you may find one to suit there are a few different types.

Another option would be to have yours welded. My old 580 CK before I bought it, the top of the housing was cracked or blown out. Someone welded it, the weld
doesn't look the best. An experienced TIG welder could have done a better job. I assume the filter housing is made of aluminum.
