Massey Ferguson 200/200B

My friend bought a Massey Ferguson 200 loader/crawler. We are not sure what the exact model is, 200 or 200B.
It ran fine and the seller drove it up on the traler, when home it drove off the trailer then quit moving. No forward or reverse.
We have been searching forums and also bought a service manual.
The clutch pedal has no resistance when pressed. Our book shows a clutch, a fluid coupler and a hydraulic clutch systym ?????
We don't know where to check or add fluid to the systym or how to check the filters or screens, the sevice manual is vague in this respect.
Has anyone here had this issue . I saw an old post from years back on it but can't find the post.
We need help.

Welcome to the forums. There are a few here with some knowledge on them, who may see this. There is not a big following of MF crawlers so you may not get a lot of responses.

The type of info you are currently looking for (fluids and locations used) is generally found in an Operator's Manual, as those are checks and service items owners and operators generally check/perform. the writers of service manuals generally assumed the shops/mechanics using a service manual had access to the operator manuals, so they didn't include a lot of those items in service manuals. You might find those used on eBay.

Thank you, I did see in my service manual that they referenced me back to the owners manual for some things.
I'm trying to get a basic understanding of the system so I can help my friend with this. Do you think I should post in the MF forum too?

It will not hurt to post there. However, I think your friend would do himself (and you) a favor if he buys an operator's manual for the same series as the series service manual, he/you have. There should be a serial number tag somewhere on it that might help some on better ID it, along with posting some pictures of it.

Im looking for an owner's manual now. We were going to but one but figured the service manual would be better.
As for the numbers. It does have a serial number that is mostly legeble but as for model all i have is 200.

I am not sure if these small MASS have the oil filter and element in transmission and have a oil pump inside for the torque
