Did they ever make a hand crank that fit in the front grill guard on a 420 JD crawler? Have never seen on advertised anywhere!

There is one shown in the online parts list at the link below, it is item # 37, press the forward arrow head for the part # and description.

I made what you might call a hand crank for my 420C. I use a 3/4 drive ratchet to turn it. It's only used to turn the engine over - not to start it. I don't think I would want to climb in behind that blade and start one with a hand crank.
