I completely rebuilt my engine I purchased a used crankshaft standard I had it checked I have .003 thousands clearance which the book says 2.2 to 4.8 but it's according if you have a red crank or a blue crank which I do not know.
My oil pressure was 22 at idle and 65 at high RPM so I knew something was wrong so I pulled the engine back out took it apart and inspecting everything. I have a new camshaft new cam bushings Etc. I ordered a new oil pump but after close inspection I noticed the pump was almost half the size of the pump that came on. So I'm hoping it's an oil pump issue but I can't find any specifications flow charts Etc on the oil pump to compare.

They sent me a EINN6600DC and it calls for a EINN6600CC which is a bigger pump.
What's your guys thoughts on the oil pump and the .003 clearance? I would much rather have.002. Thanks.

Is the pump a gear type, if so you would need to find the flow rate and pressure to compare it with the old one, did the supplier say it was a replacement, 22/65 psi would be ample pressure for the engine to run safely, the crank measurement of 3 thou clearance is about right.

Yes it's a gear driven pump and I have already ordered the bigger pump.
I can't find a flow chart on these pumps anywhere. But after talking to the Machine Shop the .003 is fine although I would like to see 2 or 2.5.
I was concerned with the 22 PSI because this is fresh oil and fresh bearings what's the oil breaks down I'm sure it would drop even lower. But I certainly think this bigger oil pump is going to pump more oil according to the supplier.
