Case 580c transaxle.

Guys is my transaxle rebuildable? This picture is the front
part of it. The gears are all busted and the housing where
the bearing rides on is pretty gulled up. I havent pulled it
off the backhoe yet. Is it worth trying to fix or look for a
replacement.

Use the online parts book to find the part number of the pieces you need. When you click on a part number in the list, info on that part generally opens. On that page you will likely see the word Fitment. Click on that and it will show you other models that used the part you are looking for. Here is a link to the parts book.

Here is an example, I don't know if it is the housing you need, you will need to find the right one to start as there are options to pick from.

What we're looking at is the counter shaft, the other end of it meshes with the differential ring gear, more than lightly that will be damaged too, the picture shows that the bearing cup is still in the housing, so the housing should be OK, hope the back one is the same, you may as well look for the whole axle as I doubt if anyone that has one would want to sell the gears you would want and be left with the housing, buy new from Case you best have a spare kidney to sell, all the 580 series have that transaxle from the C to the early K's the later K's had Carraro axles, have a look at the dismantled machines on Machinery Trader at the link below.

Im gonna pull it out. I just installed and rebuilt a 188 in it. Runs great. If I would have known the transaxle was screwed up I would have passed. Im gonna look for another one. In the mean time Im gonna go ahead and pull it apart. See how the inside looks. Sucks. I dont have 20 hours on the hoe.

Thats good to know. So all the way to the early K transaxle
will bolt up? I dont have to just look at C models? I looked it
up on the parts catalog but it says only will interchange with
the model C.

Yes, I am taking it this machine is a power shuttle as they did a manual shuttle as well, by the picture it's a power shuttle a manual shuttle the engine would have to be removed, the shuttle and range box to get back that far.
