1955 Case CC carb questions

This tractor hasn't run in over ten years. I finally got good spark out of the magneto and now need to work on the carb. I removed the carb because it was spewing gas from all the seams.
I cannot find a name on the carb. There is a small round tag attached with the number 7124D on it.
Is this a Zenith carburator? And does anyone know where to get the proper rebuild kit with gaskets? Thanks
Here's a picture of it.

If you are looking for parts for a 1955 Case CC there is a reason you can't find anything, Case didn't make the CC in 1955, its probably a 1935 model. The DC replaced the CC in 1939.

Contact John Saeli for parts, if he doesn't have them he can probably tell you where you might find them.

Leaking gas at the gasket means the needle valve is not working properly. Maybe the main thing it needs is to free up the needle valve.

I already split the carb and the float is cracked and a little squashed like it had ice in it (?) don't know what did that but it will need replacing too. If I can't locate a kit, I'll take the time to make a new gasket and do a total cleanout and try to make it work. Ron is this a Zenith?

Again, DC was made in 1944, CC production was 1929-1939. If you can find the serial number on the tractor we can help you with model year and that will help identify the carburator type.

It's a 1937 model; for 6 digit serial numbers you use the first and 4th digits and subtract 3.
40 minus 3 equals 1937.
Floats for this carburetor are very hard to find; it is a Zenith 124 1/2.

tractor ser.# isn't going to tell you jack, several cc's have dc carbs installed so the only thing that means anything is the carb. tag number, Tom is on the right path
