That could have ended very badly! Went to take some bales out before the storm hit. Went across the road, made a hard left turn with a round bale on the loader, looked down and had a front tire bulged WAY out. The rim had rusted and broke away at the bead. Great! Now I'm on the shoulder of the road with about a foot of tube sticking out of a tire. Didn't want to risk my life changing it right there. Had to walk past it to open the gate and was afraid of getting my legs blown off at the knees, but I made it. I limped it in throught the gate in low gear, dropped the loader and used the down pressure to lift the front end and take the pressure off,but now I see it's broken away right at the valve stem,so I had to risk loosing an arm to reach in and take the valve core out. Lug bolts were rusted in pretty bad from years in the manure,so I had to take all 6 off with a breaker bar. Just threw it on the shop floor to break it down and the snow started. What a GREAT day! Always on Sunday ain't it?
