I've never seen this one pulled before. I went into rual town 40 miles from Phoenix, to pick up a piece of rental equipment today.
On the away back home, AZ-Dot has a sign that says;
"ALL auto and truck diesels must stop"
AZ-Dot has a make shift lane flagged off for stopping going away from Phoenix, not into Phoenix. On the side that they were testing, that road doesn't lead to another major town for another 40miles. Even at that you have to take several other roads to get to that town.
This is in a county that has NO diesel emissions.
AZ does not have red fuel. AZ makes you pay the fuel tax upfront then file income tax forms for a fuel tax refund.
So why the stop? They had the sign turned around so I couldn't read it when I went by, so I didn't stop. My wife seen the sign when she looked back.
