Been having pwr wndw issues off and on since I got my little KIA. Either working slow, stuttering, etc. This morning, put the window down and no go uppy. Pouring down rain of course. I had taken the cluster out a last week, scratched my head a little and put it back in and things worked until this morning. Window down in the rain doesn't leave much time for waiting on a part to be mailed, so I called a local dealer  $395 for the cluster and a 3 week wait. I'm at work on a training holiday (no Soldiers and very little other folks working) so decided to pull the cluster again. Figured if I had to tape on a garbage bag and wait 3 weeks, I didn't have anything to loose by ruining an already broke switch.
Got things apart and a bunch of small parts fell out. Got to looking and every contact was corroded and a couple were caked with what looked like carbon. Started cleaning, scraping, and wiping and put everything back together (no parts left over) and tried. Shazaaam!!!!!!!! It was like Christmas.. All windows, even one that wasn't working at all, are zooming.
