information on old Sears Tractor

Can any one give me information on a Sears Tractor SS12. It is not a lawn mower and was before the name Craftsman was used. We believe it is somewhere between 10 and 25 years old, so far until we found this website we have found no one not even Sears who could be of assistance. I will list all of the information I got off the tractor. SS12 Solid State Ignition Super Start Compression Release Fly Ball Type Governor Engine Model 143592022 Tractor Model 917 either2or5 510 We want to find a manual if possible I will be grateful for anyhelp I get. It is red and gray.
