I"ve got Radial tires on my FWA Massey tractor, but the clamp-on duals on the rear are bias ply tire, i know its not an ideal situation, but I"m not spending money for different tires this year...
Anyway, got the radials aired down to 7psi (front) and 8 psi (rear), as recommended by the tire manufacturers, and the tires work well, lots of grip (last fall anyway), but this spring i want the duals on... how low can i air the bias ply duals down???? right now they are at 8psi also, but now they are taking most of the weight... so can i air them down more until they share the weight of the tractor, or do i have to add some air to the radials to get everything evened out???
Hope to start into the field work by the end of the week here in western Manitoba, some of the fields are a little on the sticky side still...
