I found the serial number, its about the PTO on the back of the transmission. Mine is WC1475 Meaning its a 1933. They made 10158 that year so im guessing mine is the second month of production. Sweet!!! I wanted most of my collection to be working tractors, and a couple just to have for collectability. I think i got it too!!!
I took a closer look at it today. The gas tank is rusted through in one spot (looks fixable) and the main tank is solid, although rusty. What can i do about that?? This tractor probabally wont be used as much as the other 2, so im thinking of getting it sealed. How much should that cost??? And, i pulled an IH mag off it today, and noticed it had new hoses and what looked like new spark plugs too, so i guess its been run somewhat recentally. how do you tell what IH mag you have??? Where can i get a carb kit for a tractor like this???
