I bought one of those replacement seat cushions at a tractor show, and I need to install it on a Ford seat.
I pulled off the grommet that runs around the rim and removed the old torn up seat.
I'm looking for tips on fitting and re-attaching the new cushion. It seems like it is going to be tricky to get that grommet on while taking up the naugahyde slack and generally getting it fitted right.
I'm thinking that doing it on a hot day and/or using a heat gun to make the nauga a bit more compliant might be the thing.
Then, when the grommet meets in the middle, a dab of hot melt glue to keep it from falling off.
I figure there must be a web site somewhere that describes the process.
