Being on this and still being fairly new to tractors. I often wondered about some comments on tractors and what they ment when saying. "Brake it apart" or split in two! Well today OLD or Rich come bye my home and picked up my Case Tractor. The clutch was not acting right or slipping it is called. He took it to his garage and while I watched he "Split it in two as they say or broke it apart. This being done in less then 2 hours! WOW! Clutch out and pressure plate out to! Now I did try to help but found I was just in the way and found me a chair and set down and watched it all. Real interesting to see my tractor done like this. I will pick up a new clutch and pressure plate and throw out bearing it is called. Within the next 7 days. Do not know how my tractor even pulled it's self. It was down to them rivets I think their called on pad. So next time one of you tractor people are saying they are going to do this to their tractor are did it already. I will know what they are talking about. *S "Never to old to learn I guess." *S
