Bought this one totally sight unseen and just took the PO's word for it. Today was the first time I had time to really look at the ol' gal, so I used it this morning to do some chores.
56 years old.
Only thing I can find wrong is that it needs the seat bushings replaced, right brake needs attended to and the throw-out bearing really should be greased. New front tires (someday).
Otherwise we are good to go.
Fella told me that his grandpa had "gone thru it 20 years ago and parked it" and that he was always tinkerin' with it. Tinkerin' with it?
I guess!
New engine, all new hoses/belts, new radiator, new guages, new starter, new battery, and set up on 12 volts with a generator not an alternator.
Absolute zero sounds from the rear end and it purrs like a kitten.
