Yesterday, a guy shot up a restaurant, killing a cook with an AK47 here in the Detroit area. Cops broadcast a description of him, his Lexus and his license number. Woke up this AM to find out he tried to rob a gas station at 11:30 last nite and then got chased by the cops through farm country about 30 miles outside of Detroit at midnite: (from the Macomb Daily)
"A man wanted in a fatal shooting at a Lincoln Park Coney Island on Tuesday apparently died when his car crashed into a piece of farm equipment late Tuesday night in Macomb County. With officers in pursuit of a car matching the description of Mydini's vehicle, the car crashed into a working combine tractor. The driver of the farm equipment was not injured."
On a back road at midnite he probably didn't expect to come up on a guy working the fields late and probably headed home (or to his next field). Feel sorry for the farmer whose combine is now out of commission. Saved the State of Michigan a lot of money though, since we don't have to prosecute and house and feed the guy for the rest of his life.
