I got a Letz 220x grinder from a neighbor this past summer. I haven't gotten around to "playing" with it until yesterday. I greased it up, hooked it up to the tractor and tried it out. I first threw in a few whole ears to see what it would do. It ate them down like nothing! I then dumped in about 1/3 bucket of whole kernal corn. I got a nice looking pile of gound corn out of it. The chickens were hoovering around and dove right in when I got done! The only problem I had was getting it to feed up the auger, but I imagine that was due to the low volume I was working with. I also am on the outlook for an operators manual for it - I THINK I have a parts manual.
