True furnace fuel might not have some additives that help lubricate the engine, pump, etc. In practice, _most_ fuel delivery places use the same exact fuel for both furnace fuel & diesel fuel. It is more expensive to handle 2 seperate fuel delivery lines than the slight difference in prices. I'd say you will be fine with a bit of a blend or a fuel additive, and if you can ask the place that delivers fuel, you likely have #2 diesle fuel from the start. --->Paul
