Not a nice sight. About all I can say. My Idea would be to bolt around the axle with the long bolts like the original, with a cold rolled plate under the bottom; like the fenders are installed on Fords, but I am amazed at how the axle cast housing broke open. Would have thought if something were to yield, it would have been a cast ear would break off, not the whole housing top. I know the grandpa is remourseful. What a pitty. Mark
