But I wouldn't fix it if it ain't broke. Wait till it fails. While in here, I had a '74 464 gas for several years. Only problem was a cracked exhaust manifold and hard starting. Hard starting was probably my fault as it was early in my tractor days and I was learning how to keep em running. Part of my problem was not shutting off my fuel when finished but you won't have that problem with your diesel. Also since your combustion temp is lower than with gas, you probably won't have the cracked manifold problem either. Good luck. Mark
