I am in the process of purchasing a new 4 X 4 compact tractor and have narrowed it down to either a Kubato B7800 or a Deere 4115. Both tractors have similiar specs however the Kubota has a 4 cylinder 30 hp gross/22 pto hp while the Deere has a 3 cylinder 24 hp gross/20 pto hp. Both tractors have hydrostatic transmissions and front end loaders. The JD is about $ 1000 more then the Kubota which seems like a lot in order to get that green paint but maybe the tractor is really worth it. I have both dealers close by so I don't believe service should be a big problem. I have always heared that J.D. are really good machines that hold their resale value well but I can't say that I have ever heared anything bad about Kubato's. Like to hear any pro's or con's from anyone that has owned either of these machines. Thanks for your input.
