Yes, if you change the depth of the pressure plug, you will change the pressure. Some times it is kind of bottomed out so it would go back the same place Not too hard to adjust when you get done. Its been a while since I had one apart so my memory is hazy. If I remember right the hard part was inserting the spool with the O rings on it without scratching them. I think, I placed the ones on one end, them pushed the spool though and put the ones on the other end and pulled it back. To keep from having the O rings in the middle passage which has sharp edges. Go slow and think, and you should have no problems. Kenny
