1941 Farnmall-A-restored-I tried to start the tractor 2 weeks ago-putt-putt-putt-die... I think that the battery had low charge and may have tried to start with the magneto down (newbie here). We replaced old battery this week (6 volt) and still won't start- each time crank won't even turn. We had it in neutral all the time and choke closed to start it. I am getting upset about this with all the snow and more coming. We also have had much below zero temps. Husband not a mechanic and tractor man left fo FL until end of march. Please let me know what would possibly be for us to do ourselves.
