This is not a tractor engine but I know there is a wealth of knowlege out there on engine problems. I have a 1936 Graham car that hadn't been started for 10-12 years. I put a new battery in and dumped some gas down the carb. it started right away but wasn't running real good cause it had a stuck exhaust valve in no. 6 cylinder. By the way this is an old continental L head 6 cyl. I stated the car a couple of days later and it ran for a couple of minites. I shut it off to check the coolent level. When I tryed to start it again it would not catch. It sputtered a little but never ran again. The stumper is that it locked right up while cranking just with the starter. I removed tha starter and its still stuck tight. What could of happened? I can't turn engine either way. I will await some of your sugestions before I pull the oil pan off. Thanks
