I ve searched the forums quite a bit and haven t found my answer this question is for those of you that have put a 619 in a 6030. Almost everything has went together pretty easy. M wanting to know what the rest of you did with the air cleaner assembly?? The 619 exhaust manifold sits 2.5" higher then the 531 manifold. Spacing up the air cleaner housing is easy. My issue is the pre cleaner mount that bolts on top of exhaust elbow. It now sets above where the hood will be .I m already planning on lowering the two holes in air cleaner housing , and doing what ever I need to do to the pre cleaner mount .. but I do not want to cut a hole in my hood. I ve found a few pics of 6030 s on the net with 619 s.. it s obvious when you see the air cleaner housing sticking up..but none of them have any hood mods any info or suggestions would be appreciated.. thanks
