I've lived in Tennessee on two different occasions and that was in two different areas of Tennessee. The first time was in the late 1970s and it was the first time I have ever actually seen clear cut logging. It wasn't on my place, so it really wasn't any of my business, but it looked to me like a war zone. The tops were everywhere. The small trees were bent and broken from the big trees that were felled for the logs. The logging equipment machines had made a mess of the ground. All things considered, I don't think I would ever want to have any place clear cut logged.
