I sold 2 SMDs in last 12 months. Both were stage 2 and in excellent running condition with narrow fronts. One had very good original paint and the other excellent new paint. Were sold at auctions about 6 months apart and each brought $3750. This was in Eastern Wisconsin.
Engine parts can be difficult to find and expensive, and many have cracked heads. Would not buy one unless I saw it start up and hear it run.
