Tuesday is my court date to protest a citation i got for parking my Farmall Super-A in my driveway. Talk about oppressive city ordinances!! I got a notice when i had it parked in the grass in my front yard. I thought about calling the city goof-balls and telling them there aint much you can do with a tractor unless it's either in the dirt or on the grass. So i moved it into the garage, (which is where i keep it 99% of the time anyway. Cant let rain get on a classic!) Well, i had new garage doors installed so i moved it out so the guy can do his job. The very same day, the tractor cop came by and stuck me with a ticket! ( I think i have a cranky neighbor) It's a $30 ticket but i protested and said i want a trial by judge. They said i could request a trial by jury. I should have taken that option just to make a point. Anyway, i think its just plan cold-blooded. This would be like getting a ticket for stopping on the freeway because they're doing construction ahead. Funny thing about all this is that it's in FARMERS BRANCH ,TX!!! You'd think they give a little slack to a little classic tractor! Anyway, I'll let you guys know if they let me off the hook or throw the book at me when its all over.
