The Brindley’s are low life’s, the one son you can’t deal with because he’s always so stoned he doesn’t make sense and the others will eagerly con a seller and rip off a buyer every chance they get. I once found a deal on a Super A on kijiji and agreed to buy it for the asking price sight unseen. Get there the next morning to pick up and the sellers said the Brindley’s had contacted them offering 200 more than asking price and said I was pulling a scam and ripping them off. The seller wasn’t stupid since I was paying their asking price so told them to stuff it. Not a lot of local people buy from them since they see the way they behave at sales, not a ethical one in the bunch. If you ever wonder why it’s difficult to find good deals on smaller equipment on kijiji, it’s because they employ a guy to comb the ads and buy up anything that’s sellable they can make a profit from. Brindley isn’t a he, more like a they, it’s an entire family. Funny part is the other Brindley (uncle) runs a scrap business and is more than happy to sell at a reasonable price to distance himself from the others.

And I think Dad was ready for some automation too. And so it was that we acquired a good, used J. I. Case, wire tie hay baler. In addition to a person to drive th
