I have converted my N9 to 12 volt many years ago with the pertronix unit. It has ran great but today it just died after running for a few minutes.......had power to the coil. So I took the whole distrib unit off and traded it for one on my other 9N so I could use it today and it ran fine after the trade. The question is how do I tell whether its the coil or pertronix unit.? I have a resister in line and I don't think you need one once you put on the twelve volt coil.......
