Yes, it was a priceless experience and I should have made Conneman the title of the thread as I know other Cornell guys are on here periodically. Eddy LaDue was my adviser and he was pretty tough to please. Good instructor though and I enjoyed Dale Grossman and her taxation and finance class. In a lot of ways it was a tough time to be there as I was really wondering about whether there was going to be a future for me to farm or do other things ag related. Around the mid-1980's there was an immense amount of consolidation going on in many associated businesses to farming and many employers were favoring experience i.e. customer lists and contacts that went with experience. I applied for a salesman job at a Western New York JD dealer shortly after school and lost out because I lacked experience and customer contacts.
