Funny you say that. I just finished working it so the temp gauge was maxed. I blew the rad and oil cooler out with compressed air and realized that the oil cooler was not really hot to the touch at all. Checked the lines, filter canisters, trans body, and some controls and none felt overly hot. Thinking a better temp check is in order. The gauge is a little screwy, it won't register until the temp reaches a certain point, the needle just bounces with the movement of the tractor. Once it gets to the yellow it will stay up there but it usually requires a good bump or a hit on the gauge to get it there.
