have researched this forum and found some great information, but I am in need of some quick information. I have located 2 Power king tractors that are both about 4 hours from me. One is a 2418, man stated bought to restore 6 months ago and bought a older truck instead. Knew nothing else about tractor. The other is a 1614, son said father bought new amd has been sitting awhile but runs great. Both comesides with similar attachments, but only the 1614 has the belly mower. I wish to maintain 5 acreage of thick, heavy grass no hills in the south, while using the push blade to move burn piles and planting a small garden. I have read that the Koyler 18hp had problems and no new parts are being made. My question is this, is the 24 make a significant hight difference for my chores and will the 14hp be strong enough for my chores. Also note that the 2418 has dual transmissions. They both would cost me around $2000. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
