Got a new fanged coffee pot for Christmas Kept water hot all day Makes coffee in 3 -4 min. How much wasted electricity ? I did not like it just not right. Im not believing global warming and so called green electricity, although I have no problem with nucular.Darn thing started leaking, back to wal=mart. DIL is pharmacist gets discount try to explain not entlited to full price refund. Like talking to rock...no recite. Well no, gifts in our family normally price not enclosed. Gave up took full price. Bought pot for 1/4 price, just like 3 year old one as glass same if needed. Efficient huh? Just put back thinking old one to shop when warmer. Yesterday old pot quit. No problem get new one out.Thinking why did old one just stop in middle of brew, like fuse or whatever. Its setting by door on way to trash, just cannot pitch it too furgel, thinking of 50years ago when first started family, you know the expense , now just not worth my time. Just had to pull it apart, discover why it stopped so abruptly. Maybe fuse? Got to thinking cold joint, that was left over ideas from working for a while next to Terra mite George . Sure enough line in from power just hang there loose, would not snap back in . Turned over, took cover off , it never was soldered in correctly. Now have to get my lazy butt up and re solder, carry over from a life of being well - well just plain old cheap. Ok guys pour another cup and enjoy the day. Maybe I should recheck my meds!!!
