1 of 3 planters at work has markers. Boss wanted to pull them off, but the guy running it said wait til we find out if the GPS is gonna work right. The markers get used fairly often. Try spraying with 120 foot booms and no GPS. A self-propelled can be run empty in the time it takes to fill the 1600gal/120ft sprayer, but it takes us 3 times as long to get home, refill the trailer, and get back to the field, then we get to wait on the sprayer.
