Good afternoon all! Has anyone had any experience with recap tires? I bought a set of 4 on steel 10bolt rims yesterday and also a set of axle duals. I am taking two of the recaps to put on my axle duals to replace the wore out tires. So I have two 20.8x38 radial re-caps with 80 to 90 percent tread on them plus the four wheels to sell. I am trying to get an idea of what to ask for the tires and wheels. I was told you can't get recaps anymore but new radials are around $1800.00 each now or more. Does anybody have any idea what I should ask for them? Does anybody want the rims? I will see if I can post pictures later. I left everything with the tire guy to get swapped. Thanks!!! Ben
