The the other day, we got a hold of two used rear tires locally at a price we were comfortable with. Problem is, we know we will need them in the future, just not exactly when (Will fit most of our tractors, or many of those we might buy if the price is right...). So we want to store them for the time being.
Of course we intend to keep the sun off them, but we will not be keeping them in a water-tight location (It is amazing how much of the little rain we get here in Az find its way inside a tire).
So my question is what is your guys preference, store them, upright () or sideways =. Think both in terms of minimizing water inside, and minimizing tread separation or sidewall damage. All thoughts appreciated.
